This trek takes its name from Prince Charles, who exactly did this tour in the 1980s. It is an easy and short hike and offers good views of the mountains, forests, paddy fields and different villages. The second part of the trip takes us to the Royal Chitwan National Park - home of 56 species of mammals, including the One-horned Rhino (Indian Rhinoceros), Bengal Tiger, Leopard, Sloth Bear, wild Elephants, Striped Hyena, River Dolphin and wild Bison etc. There are only an estimated number of species of birds, 126 species of fish, 590 species of butterflies and 47 species of reptiles in the park. Day 03: Kathmandu to Pokhara – 6 till 7 hours drive
Day 04: We hike from Pokhara to Kalikasthan 1'180 m

Day 08: Transfer to the Royal Chitwan National Park

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu

Enjoy the historical cultural sites of Kathmandu including UNESCO World Heritage Site, Pashupatinath (sacred Hindu temples), Boudhanath (Buddhist shrine) Swayembhunath (monkey temple), etc.
Day 03: Kathmandu - Pokhara – 6 till 7 hours drive
Pokhara has one of the most beautiful Himalayan panoramas in the world. Enjoy your dinner with a magnificent view to the peaks of Annapurna and "Fishtail"
Day 04: We hike from Pokhara to Kalikasthan 1'180 m
After breakfast, we drive to Vijayapur Khola where we start our tour. We walk about 1 hour through rice fields and then we cross the river. In the summer, during the Monsoons it can be difficult to cross because of the floods.
Day 05: Kalikasthan – Syaglung 1'260 m
After we had breakfast, we walk through the village and along a ridge. We have a fantastic view of the Annapurna Himal and the Lamjung.
Day 06: Syaglung - Chisapani 1'260 m
We hike through the Gurung village, rhododendron and sal forests. Halfway down the road first descends 400 m and directly afterwards it rises 600 m and finally we reach Chisapani. This is the best place to enjoy the Himalayan panorama. You will see Dhaulagiri and on the westside Annapurna.
Day 07: Chisapani - Pokhara
We walk down the hill to Rupa Tal and again up ca. 200 m to Sundari Danda; 15 minutes later we reach the Begnas Valley. After an hour boat trip we head for the transfer to Pokhara.
Day 08: Transfer to the Royal Chitwan National Park
After breakfast we continue our journey to the south to the Royal Chitwan National Park. Along the way, we have the opportunity for a 2 - 3 hours rafting.
After the arrival in the national park, we are able to participate in an elephant safari: On the back of the elephant, we explore the jungle and the wilderness. You have the chance to see One-horned Rhinoceros (Indian Rhinoceros), various species of Deer, Monkeys, Wild Boar, Bison, Sloth Bear, Leopard, and if you are lucky the Royal Bengal Tiger. This exciting tour takes 2 - 3 hours.
Day 09: Royal Chitwan National Park
Day 10: Royal Chitwan National Park – Kathmandu
Before leaving for Kathmandu, we take our time for the birdwatching program to see the diversity of birds or for another jungle safari with elephants.
