Behind the great Annapurna massif lives in a secluded valley a king of ancient times. It is the King of Mustang. A country that has been influenced by Tibetan culture and trade Salt Road, between Tibet and India.
The Langtang region is the home to the Tamang. Unfortunately, large parts of the area were destroyed by the earthquake of 25 April and 12 May. The Langtang trail is open.
Boudhanath Stupa is known for its large Stupa and has for centuries been one of the most important pilgrimages for Buddhists. With a height of about 36 meters, the Stupa is one of the largest of its kind.

With its 8'163 meters, the Manaslu "Soul Mountain” is the eighth highest mountain in the world. Manaslu means "Soul Mountain" and is located in the Gurkha district. The Trail is again open since September 2015.
