About Trip

Langtang and Gosainkunda trek is one of the great trekking trails in Nepal. This trek offers a view of a Beautiful valley, Panoramic Mountain View, charming village of different ethnic groups, green forest with blooming rhododendron flowers, Beautiful Holy lakes of Hindu and Buddhist people, and beautiful monasteries (gumba).

Starting from Syabrubesi, the trek leads towards Lama Hotel the same trail as the Langtang Valley trek. It goes through the valley till Kyanjing Gomba and descends down the same way till Pahiro( Landslide ). After getting down till Pahiro the trail leads toward Thulo syaphru which slightly goes more uphill. Thulo syaphru is a small beautiful village of the Tamang community. After Thulo syaphru we lead to sin gumba which is also known as Chandan Bari, there is a cheese factory where we can see how they make the cheese and buy fresh and organic cheese.

After Sin Gomba we start our hike towards Gosainkunda via Lauribina, Thee view from lauribina is really amazing with the Beautiful green forest with blooming rhododendron flowers and maintain a view of Ganesh Himal, Manaslu, Langtang Lirung, and many more high peaks. After Lunch at Lauribina, we lead towards Gosainkunda where we see the view of staggering high mountain lakes. The Gosainkunda Lake is a holy lake, During August's full moon there is a big festival of Hindu and Buddhist people Called Janai Purnima. People take bath in the lake and pray for their wishes, The pilgrimage from India also visits in high volume during, before, and after the festival.

After Gosainkunda lake we have a pass called lauribina pass-4,610m (Gosaikunda pass). From the pass, we see the panoramic view of Mountains, Peaks, spectacular view of the Valley, and beautiful green forest. The trail goes downhill till Phedi where we take lunch. From Phedi the trail is really peaceful with bamboo forest, the way goes ups and downs and finally, we arrive at Ghopte this will be the longest day for our trek. after Ghopte we lead towards a beautiful village called Thadepati and our destination for this day will be at Mangen Goth where is a luxury lodge for the mountain. Our next destination is Kutumsang which is an old and cultural village of different ethnic groups. From Kutumsang we see buses and jeeps after more than a week. For the next day, we follow the road and sometimes shortcuts till pativanjyang and from patibhanjyang the way goes slightly uphill to Chisapani. Chisapani is also the small village where many local tourists come to visit because it is just a few hours far from Kathmandu, On the last day at first we hike uphill for an hour and goes down downhill by following the way of Sundari Jal national park which is a really brilliant and peaceful trail through the green forest. We walk to Kathmandu and drive to the hotel.
