Since Generation "twice a year - high in the foothills of the Himalayas - Gurung man gather on a cliff – it is the home to the world's largest honey bee to harvest the honey. This unique way of honey harvest – is a ritual that varies from community to community.  It is a one-time opportunity to experience this unique traditional honey-hunting!"

The Himalayan honey bee project (International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development (ICIMOD) in Kathmandu) plays an active role in the sustainable management and working with local communities for the survival of this unique species.

Mardi Himal trek is the best way to explore the natural and cultural beauty of the region. Mardi Himal Trek takes you to the isolated parts of the Annapurna region. It is rich in natural beauty like dense forests of rhododendron, pine, bamboo, oak and offers different kinds of rare and nonrare wild animals, different species of birds, and butterflies.

From the Mardi Himal summit we have a beautiful view of Annapurna, Machhapuchhre, Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, and Himchuli.
