The Langtang valley trek is perfect for travelers who prefer a quiet and peaceful environment. The Langtang valley trek offers the Himalayan panoramic view, beautiful valleys as well as woodlands, and in spring; your path is lined with flowering rhododendrons.

Langtang is situated north of Kathmandu and can be also combined with the Helambu and/or Goisaikunda Trek. The valley is mostly inhabited by the Tamang community, some Sherpa and Gurung. The open and friendly locals will give you a glimpse of their variety of cultural activities.

The National Park is the home of some endangered animals such as Himalayan deer, Himalayan bears, different types of monkeys, and the most famous animal in the area the red panda.

In April and May 2015 the strong earthquake has caused massive damage to the Langtang village, most people from the village lost their family members. One aim of Happy Himalayan Treks is the support the locals to be back to normal life in promoting the Langtang Valley Trek.
