Annapurna Base camp trek itinerary
Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu
Day 2 Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara
The Tourist bus leaves about 7.00 in the morning, the client should arrive at the tourist bus park before 20 minutes of bus leaving. it takes about 8 hours driving by tourist bus. for the alternative able to choose plane or private jeep as well.
Day 3 pokhara to Ulleri
from pokhara to Nayapul it takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes to drive so, The hikes starts in Nayapul. After 15 minutes along on the bank of the Modi Khola River, the way brings us to Birethanti 1'025 m, a large village with shops and tea houses. From there, the trail continues through the village and follows the northern shore of Bhurungdi Khola. Then we climb steadily uphill to Hille 1‘475 m here comes now the challenging part of the day, the ascent to Ulleri.
Day 4 Ulleri to Ghorepani
After a breakfast leave from Ulleri and begin to climb upto Ghorepani. The trail leads through oak and rhododendron forests to Banthanti 2‘250 m. From therewalk towards Nangethanti the elevation is 2'460 m. After another hour we reach Ghorepani 2'874 m. Option: those who want to enjoy the sunset on the Poon Hill 3'210 m
Day 5 Ghorepani to poonhill (3200m) to Tadapani
Still in the dark, and those who did not oversleep, make the one-hour climb to Poon Hill 3'210 m. A great spectacle. This vantage point offers a wonderful view of the sunrise over the Himalayas. We spend about 40 minutes and enjoy the wonderful experience before we get back down to Ghorepani and relish our well-deserved breakfast. This part is known as the 'Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek' and is a very popular place in this region. Afterwards the path leads us over hills and through pine- and rhododendron forests before arriving in Banthanti. From here we take the turnoff to Tadapani.
Day 6 Tadapani To Chhomrung
Today we will hike through the village Gurjung - home of the 'Gurung'. From here, it goes slowly on to Chomrong , the beginning of the Sacred Valley 'Sanctuary Valley'
Day 7 Chhomrung To Dhovan
The path leads us first again downhill to the Chhomrung Khola before it rises again until we reach Khuldighar and have a clear view of the Fishtail (Machhapuchhre). From here we continue to Bamboo (named after its bamboo forest), after a while we arrive in Dovan.
Day 8 Dovan To Deurali
First we walk through bamboo- and rhododendron forests, to Himalaya and up to Hinku Cave at 3’020 m. We stay overnight in Deurali to acclimate for the final ascent to Annapurna base camp.
Day 9 Deurali To MBC (Machhapuchhre Base Camp)
This morning takes us through the beautiful 'Hidden Valley', in the past it was used as the Base Camp of Machhapuchhre. Nowadays, it is forbidden to climb Machhapuchhre (Fishtail).
The name of the Annapurna Sanctuary 'The Hidden Valley' became because it is surrounded from all sides by mountains.
Day 10 MBC (Machhapuchhre Base Camp) – ABC (Annapurna Base Camp) 4130m back to Bamboo
Still in the dark, we make our way up to Annapurna base camp 4'130 m to enjoy the sunrise there. After breakfast we walk back to the MBC and afterwards to Bamboo.
Day 11 Bamboo To Jhinu Danda
Enjoy the natural hot springs at the foot of the river.
Day 12 Jhinu Danda - Dhampush
After breakfast, we start following the trail downhill through. We have beautiful view of Waterfalls and forest on the way. This trail will finally take us to Dhampus, The cultural village of Gurung Community.
Day 13 Dhampush to Pokhara
After exploring the gurung culture we starts heading downhills till Kande and Drive to poKhara about (30 Minutes drive)
Day 14 Drive from Pokhara To Kathmandu
If you have time you can enjoy pokhara few days more. It takes about 7 to 8 hours drive back by tourist bus.
Day 15 Departure
Now is time to say good bye hope to see you again, Have a safe journey ! Our staff will pick you from hotel and drop down to the airport.
