I can strongly recommend this company. I have known Dilli for many years being his first guiding party to the Everest Region and the Gokyo Valley in particular. We walked from Jiri following in the footsteps of many famous expeditions to Everest. A magic experience. I also trekked with Happy Himalayan to Chukung at the foot of the Lhotse Glacier being awe inspired by the sight of 3.5 Km of vertical rock and ice. The company has grown into one of the most reputable trekking / guiding operators in the region able to service what ever your needs may be.

Happy Himalayan Treks are amazing!! The people who work there are so kind, helpful, and generous. My husband and I did the Base Camp and Three Pass Trek (highly recommend it), and Deepak was our guide. We could not have asked for a more generous, thoughtful, or knowledgeable man. We will never trek in Nepal with anyone else. I cannot recommend this company and the people enough. They care about your wellbeing and health, and their only goal is for you to have the best experience while in Nepal. If you are looking to book a trek, choose Happy Himalayan Treks - you will not regret it.

In October 2016 my girlfriend and I visited Nepal for the first time. We decided to book a trekking to Annapurna Base Camp. Walking through Thamel, we stumbled upon Happy Himalayan Treks. There we were warmly welcomed by the owners Dilli and Susann. They were very helpful in planning and organising the ABC trek for us. They arranged the guide, porter, trekking schedule and permits and so on. Also after we booked, Dilli and Susann were very helpful and responded quickly to our questions.In Pokhara we met our guide Dhana and porter Sumir. They took good care of us by arranging everything during the trek and we had a great time with them. The trek itself was amazing, and our guide and porter definitely enhanced the whole experience.After the trek Dilli and Susann even invited us to celebrate the Diwali festival with them and their family. We felt honoured to be there and were very delighted by their kindness and hospitality.All in all, we had great experience! We highly recommend Happy Himalayan Treks to anyone who likes to trek in Nepal.

Dilli and Susan are amazing hosts, helping with everything from accommodation, flights, bus rides, guided trekking, technical mountaineering and paragliding. They are a wonderful couple, which I now consider friends. I look forward to seeing them again. We were successful climbing Labouche, very helpful and friendly porters, And with Dilli you never stop laughing: Wonderful!

A wonderful family run business with very knowledgeable and experienced staff. They treated us like family throughout the entire process and we will definitely use them again if we ever make our way back to Nepal. Deepak was our guide for a 20-day Annapurna Circuit and I highly recommend him!

Trek with Dilli and his son Ashok was a wonderful experience full of warm talks, breathtaking views, long distance walks. Highly recommended to all travelers! :) Dilli's family is very kind, caring and intelligent. You can rent a room at their home in Kathmandu by the way ;)
